I've owned the plant stand for about 6 months now. I was initially impressed with how good it looks. The wood color is holding up well on my deck, but it's not as durable as advertised. The second tier separated at the joints and collapsed the entire stand after about 2 months. Overstock's customer service was excellent in replacing the part, but I don't want to have to do that again. Now, about 4 months later, I notice the replacement tier is starting to sag, as well, and I am lightening my load (before I have a chance to reinforce the joints) to avoid another collapse. I don't have a lot of heavy pots on the stand. In fact, they are mostly plastic containers since I've previously experienced the collapse with the terra cotta pots (which cracked from their fall). This is a pretty plant stand, so I would still recommend it more for decorative purposes.
I needed a strong, durable dolly for a +50 lb monstera plant I place outside weekly for watering purposes. Having broken 2 cheap plastic ones, I searched for one with metal wheels and this one does not disappoint. Despite the price, I know this dolly will be sturdy and will last for years, offsetting the money I would spend on various plastic dollies.
