This heavily textured piece depicts a stony road, extending to the horizon amidst a bleak landscape. The grey sky is almost the same colors as the earth, making this image feel ethereal. This could be a road in some distant place, or a road of metaphor, strewn with treacherous pebbles just as life is. There is a tactile experience to this piece, which packs the texture more densely at the bottom where the road begins. This in turn creates the illusion of distance. 2 D-rings are affixed to the back of each piece so it is ready to hang in a vertical orientation!
