So worth it.
Arrived on time. The stack of boxes was a bit intimidating but most of them contained the cabinet doors. Items were well packaged to avoid shifting in transit and damage. It took my husband about 5 hours to assemble all cabinets. He has built flat-pack items before but is not a carpenter. The most time consuming was lining up the backpiece. Getting it square assured cabinet stability, the ease of hanging doors and placing shelves. Color is a tinge on the blue side but still solidly sage. Soft-close doors were something I did not know I needed but I like them. As mentioned elsewhere, the thinner cabinet does not attach to nor sit flush against the larger cabinet. There is a small gap between the two. Our cabinet sits in an entryway so the gap is not an issue. This unit holds a great deal. **Do not unbox parts of the item until you are ready to begin assembly. We left the backs out overnight and they were warped in the morning (there was not much humidity at all). Tacking the now-wavy backs to the cabinets was a two-person job --took a bit of time but not difficult. Has been up 4 weeks and no wobbling or tilting. I am preparing to buy a smaller unit for elsewhere in our home. Purchase this item with confidence !
