POLYWOOD® Classic Outdoor Folding Adirondack Chair

I was between this and a different folding and reclining polywood adirondack chair offered on Overstock. I went with this one because I liked the darker grey color much better than the lighter grey of the other model. But I am really disappointed with the chair for a few reasons.. The Bad... 1. they are smaller and I think they are uncomfortable-very hard and very upright back. I didn't think the reclining option would be necessary, but now I certainly do. For reference, I am only 5'3", 125lbs. 2. And here's the big one for me which I am so surprised no other reviewer mentions. They don't just fold up, you need to remove (probably hammer out) a poly plugs on the sides of the chair that you put in on assembly. So, for me, this makes them really only foldable at the end of the season, and I better make sure that I keep those plugs in a safe place until Spring. The Good... 1. The slate grey is really a nice grey with some blue tone. 2. They were easy to put together. After you figure out how to position the back to the base, it's only putting in 2 screws and the 2 plugs into each chair. I put together 4 chairs in probably less than 45 minutes. 3. The shipping was SUPER fast. They were delivered only a few days after I ordered. In the end, again, I probably wouldn't have been happy with the other grey color chair, but that one now seems like a much better built chair. For me, spending $**** on 4 deck chairs, I would have hoped and expected to be thrilled.

*** . They are sturdy and very well made. I assembled all 5 chairs in less than 1 hour (40-something year old female!) These will never chip or need to be repainted.

So far I'm very happy with this purchase. Time will tell if they hold up as long as I hope but my neighbors have had the same chairs, different color for several years and they still look new.

Love these chairs, best price on the market and the quality is excellent! Also quick and easy to put together! Quality is top notch, price can't be beat! We looked for months...try these, you will love them!

Very good quality. Easy to assemble. Folding feature great for storage. They are heavy. White had no blemishes. Recommend. One thing. If you are tall the depth may be too shallow for you. I am 5’5 and the edge of seat hits few inches shy of back of knee.
