NOT AS THEY APPEAR ON WEBSITE!
I rarely write a review unless a product is extremely good or extremely bad. I was so disappointed in these that I felt I should let others know what I experienced with them. I Purchased 2 and couldn't wait to receive them. I was so disappointed and actually sad when they arrived. First, the color is no where near the color portrayed on the site. It is much darker and just completely a different color. I thought they were more of a golden oak at least that's how I saw them. Secondly, and I suppose I should have realized that they are made out of cheap heavy board not a veneer finish as I thought they were so I was very disappointed that the finish was very cheap looking but again that was my bad. Thirdly, each nightstand came with what seemed like a 5lb package of hardware, it was the size of a whole chicken you buy in the store, NO LIE it's HUGE! to put the stand together which looked like a nightmare! Now, I would have gone to the trouble of putting them together had they looked anything like the picture on the website as I thought they were gorgeous! Also, I imagine the finish will scratch very easily and with this finish there is really no good way to cover them up but again, my bad! I would describe the finish more of a cheap MICA. Now the actual size and shape were as they appeared and it is just a shame they don't use a veneer finish or even a brushed finish as that would make them so much more appealing and elegant. I honestly don't know how this product would get any 5 stars as again, the finish is nothing like it appears to be. I am going to try to attach a picture I took to send to the seller when I ask for a return. Speaking of return, I had to stand firm with the reason for my return or I was going to have to pay to ship them back and with them weighing about 75lbs each it wasn't going to be cheap. Then they wanted me to take them to the UPS Store and I had to explain to them that with the weight of them there's was no way that was going to happen! They did finaly agree to send UPS to my house to pick them up free of charge which is exactly what they should have offered to begin with since the product was NOT what their website showed. I am not trying to bash this seller I just want to let other buyers interested in purchasing these what I actually received and possibly avoid the hassle I went through. I absolutely love the style and size but I myself would never have been happen with them. I hope this helps anyone reading this who's trying to decide on purchasing these. If the color doesn't bother you or the finish on them then yes these may work for you, to me they just weren't worth the amount I paid and nothing like what I thought they'd look like. But, some actually did give them 5 stars so to each their own I suppose! PS. I was able to attach a picture but even it isn't the true color but a lot closer to actual color and the finish actually looks pretty nice in it like it has a wood grain finish but it def does not! Maybe this particular item just doesn't photograph well and it's hard to get the true color but the seller should definitely edit the photo so it represents what the purchaser actually receives.
