My preference was a rectangle fire pit with a more modern look, but it would have to be placed aside a sitting group or in front of a larger couch perhaps. It was not in my budget, so I purchased this square fire pit and placed four chairs around. The few times we used it, more and more chairs are moved and it turned out to be the center of any get-together. It puts out heat, too. Happy about the purchase.
Love these! Much better quality (thickness of plastic) then previous planters I have used. They are plastic and the color is lighter along the "seam". I use these in groupings of different sizes so I just position accordingly. I bought every size (I think) available on Overstock. These are fantastic, I use them at our home and our lake cabin. I'm able to have beautiful mixed planters even when I'm not there to water. One tip I'll offer for anyone, like me, who lives in mosquito prone areas- get some mosquito dunks! Place one (or a half or quarter, depending on pot size) in the reservoir and you won't create a mosquito breeding ground.
Perfect for a small patio group. Not easy to insert the propane tank as it needs to be upright, there is no door, and someone else has to hold the pit upright while another person reaches up inside to insert the tank and attach it. Whew. Tanks last 3-4 hours, so can get expensive to keep propane going. OK for limited use.
