The bench went together quickly. All hardware included, including allen wrenches (we used a bicycle Spindoctor instead which is faster and easier to manipulate). Wood is a soft grey color, much liked weathered wood., so will match our old cypress swing. The bench seat is "loose", simply lays across the ends and a few small supports. We inserted a couple of wood screws through the mid-bench support in the front and back and more or less permanently attached the bench seat to the overall structure. May not be necessary, but you never know. Added a marine blue cushion and a couple of blue and white pillows. Looks great and appears much more expensive than the actual cost would have you believe. Poolside, this and a couple of matching chairs are an elegant addition. They are new to us, so wear and tear may change things. However, they appear structurally sound and great value.
I wanted some kind of seating for my front porch. Since it is closed in I found this bench, comfortable for 2 people to seat and still have 2 more chairs tom seat company.
