I have had this ottoman for several years. It is nice sturdy good quality pleasant to touch has handles on both sides to transfer. Good extra sitting, foot stool, multifunctional storage for toys, books, ongoing crafting and knitting projects etc. Lid problem: cheap vinyl started cracking and chipping off in a few months after purchasing it.
My TV room was looking kind of square so this oval shaped ottoman rounds things off. The ottoman is the right height for putting up my legs and relaxing. It's wide enough for the cats to share with me while I'm relaxing and the depth is just right to fit it between the sofa and coffee table. This could also be used as a sitting stool in a pinch. The legs are solid wood with a brownish gray wash. Each leg is attached underneath the cushion top with two bolts so it's not wobbly. It's a bit of a challenge to get the bolts and bolt holes lined up but once you accomplish that putting the whole thing together is a snap. The fabric on the top is sort of like a smooth denim texture and the design pattern is a print as opposed to a woven pattern. I like this ottoman enough to recommend it to you for purchase.
Perfect for college dorm and very multi purpose. Step stool to get into the high bed, storage for shoes and blankets (or whatever), ottoman in front of futon, set a tray on it and eat dinner...love, love, love.
I bought as an extra stool and pop off Color in a man cave. It's cute, but not sure my husband likes much "cute"in his bar. Not sure that is trust it as a stool as it's extremity lightweight, but works fine as a footstool when needed.
