Alright, But Not Very Sturdy
This bed wasn't quite what I was hoping for. It's not too difficult to put together, but it certainly could have been easier. The support system is made up of slats that are 'tied' together using a tough fabric that is stapled onto the wood slat. The slats lay across the bed vertically with the main support coming from the edges of the bed. There is a third means of 'support' with a piece of wood that isn't very sturdy that goes horizontally across the bed about 1/3 of the way from the edge of the bed. That board actually broke a little over a month after I bought this bed. It actually split right down the middle where a screw had been holding it in place. The drawers never worked, I didn't really intend on using them so it's not a big deal but it does take away from the overall appearance of the bed. I set them in there anyway for appearance sake, but it still looks pretty bad. I would suggest looking for something studier if you're looking for a daybed and be aware that it does take up a little more space than your standard full-sized bed when you take the edges in consideration. A standard full sized mattress doesn't fit tightly on this bed, there is about 1-3 inches between the mattress and the edges total if you push it flush against one side.

I love the color and the ease of assembly of this product. The hardware is well thought out and seems to be of good quality. The quality of construction leaves a little to be desired though. I finally got around to assembling this 4 days ago and I discovered today that the middle supports are already broken. The bottom support broke right in half at the bolt hole where the middle drawer connects and the top support had the inserts pull out of the wood. I definitely recommend using a box spring for added support. If you are handy I would suggest adding some additional support before putting the slats on.

This was the best buy ever. This daybed was easy to put together. My daughter and I did it in 2 hours. I love the way it looks in my guest room. I purchased the white and am so pleased. The quality of wood is good, and I bought the mattress I wanted at a mattress store.

I must say I was worried at first. But with the help of a friend I put together the daybed within a few hours. Please consider having an automatic screwdriver handy as it did us justice. Been a couple of months and I love the frame.

Untreated wood slats grow mold
Bed support wood slats that I received are made out of raw unfinished wood. I realized that they were growing mold the entire time my daughter slept on her bed. I couldn't believe what we discovered. We have zero mold anywhere else in the house and I understand that mold is always in the air but that's why something like a bed (that will also have a warm mattress tightly on top) should be made with treated wood parts to prevent that. It took me days to clean it and it came right back. I am speechless as I now need to replace both the bed and the mattress that I bought on overstock less than a year ago

This bed was great quality, much better than I imagined! It’s the perfect color, it’s comes exactly how it explained! I would absolutely recommend this to anyone looking for a new bed for a teen!
