  • Colorful
    Verified Purchase

I bought this set because it was so colorful. But because it is stone wear, it chips very easily. I've also noticed that lately the inside is showing cracks. Happy with my purchase, but wished that it lasted a little longer. Time to go shopping!

  • Good quality, bright dinnerware.
    Verified Purchase

I collect household ware with this particular stripe pattern and was attracted to the idea of plain red plates as they match my 'Doc spag' spaghetti plates, and also liked the striped bowls, as I have 4 "pasta bowls' with a very similar pattern around the edges. I like the matching striped mugs with their orange handles too. Everything coordinates really well, and as I also already have a lime green set of dinnerware similar in colour to the green plates of one of the other sets in this series, I can mix and match with these, and now have in effect, an eight piece plate setting! I also have a matching lamp bought from IKEA and striped apron from Deckchair Stripes (UK). I couldn't find this set advertised in the UK so I decided the cost of the shipping was worth it. I was not disappointed! I have also splashed out on the serving dish with condiment set in the Omniware Rio series too. Very decorative!

  • Good quality, but glazing has some flaws
    Verified Purchase

I saw these dishes here and loved the bright red and colorful stripes. However, the red color is not quite as bright as shown in the pictures, and the glazing is not the best - I'm a little concerned about whether it will hold up. The pieces are large, especially the bowls, which are nearly large enough to use as serving bowls. All that being said, they came very quickly, and were very well packed. I purchased these to use these in combination with my Fiesta dishes (I love to "mix and match" place settings) and they do work together very well. Outside of the slight difference in color and the "something less than deluxe" glazing, I'm fairly well pleased. They're certainly worth what I paid.
