Bought this for my husband. for Christmas. We had ordered tea in Bermuda and it was served from a pot similar to the one I orderedd and am reviewing. He loved the pot and I found one at O at a very good price, and her opened it on and her really loves this pot. The color is a more muted shade than depicted on line, as are most colors, and the soft dusty mauve is quite nice.

This is such a beautiful color! The large capacity is great and the stainless strainer goes all the way to the bottom of pot so you don't have to make a full pot if not needed. I have been looking for a teapot like this but didn't want to pay the hefty price. No compromising here. Thanks Overstock!!

I've had this teapot for about a month now and it's brought cheer and convenience to every day I use it. I was previously using teabags and would brew large cups of tea at a time to keep from having to repeat the process so often. The tea would get cold before I finished the mugs. This was the perfect solution. It does a fantastic job keeping the tea warm. The mesh strainer reaches all the way to the bottom of the pot, which was a concern. I was so happy to see they included a big strainer, so you can make any size pot of tea instead of always having to fill it to the top. Once again, Overstock exceeded my expectations and delivered a high quality product at fraction of the cost of similar items. The included literature from the manufacturer claims these are made by skilled craftsmen. It brews a delicious tea. It taste better when brewed in this compared to the steeping in a cup with a lid to cover. Fantastic!
