Modway Push mid back office chair Ordered this chair for my wifes home office. She seems to like it quite well after having it about 6 weeks. Its nicely cushioned and adjusts well. Just one problem .within a week of receiving it 2 wheels broke and she almost fell over. I had saved wheels from my old office chair and replaced all of the wheels on the Push Mid Back Chair. I used the fantastic Rolland Extra Large Office Chair Caster - 3"(75mm) Wheel, which I had used to replace the casters on my previous chair. No Problems since. This is really unacceptable to use such cheap casters. The rest of the chair seems fine but who knows. Im glad I took out a three year warranty when I purchased this from Staples. I believe like many other items this was made in China. I have recently noticed that products that were once highly rated are now being rated very poorly. I think the manufacturing of products should come back to the USA ASAP.
This chair is quite inexpensive, and so you'd expect some quality compromises. In this case I'd rate the appearance 5-stars, so it's the functionality where my rating gets chopped down to 3-stars. Still positive, but not stellar. The up-down lever adjustment doesn't give the seat much travel, so you'll want to be sure the chair's limited height range will work with your desk. The second adjustment -- a big knob near the center underneath the chair -- doesn't appear to do anything. Presumably, it adjusts the stiffness/softness of the chair's ability to lean back, but I don't detect any effect. The chair remains stiffly upright, which is exactly what I'd want anyway. Finally, the seat itself feels a bit cheap: too forgiving, like a sofa cushion that needs the occasional fluffing up -- except it's an attached seat which can't be fluffed. But as I said, I'm overall happy with this product and it looks great.
