I love this bed frame/headboard. It was easy to ensemble, has no weird wood odor, and it looks so PRETTY!
ultimately, it's a beautiful bed and i'm happy i got it but it's an absolute pain to put together. i am very adept at building furniture and generally look forward to it - but putting this together was honestly hellish. i am already dreading the day i have to take it down to move.

This bed not only holds up to water damage pretty well (from a leaking ceiling) but it ALSO holds up to fall damage! My roommate just fell through the attic ceiling last night and bounced off this bed no problem. No injuries incurred to his person OR the bed. 10/10 it will hold you.
Pros: I love the look of the bed, it's exactly what I wanted. It is a darker color than in the picture, but I was glad, it's a true Walnut. Cons: The headboard, in true MCM style is low. So if you have a thick mattress and/or poofy pillows you won't even see it. Secondly, the wooden slats are super-cheap. They aren't even full-length boards, they are scraps that were glued together--I hope they hold up. They are also splintery, so I had to put down an old sheet so the slats wouldn't snag and tear my mattress.
This is one of the most beautiful bed frames I've ever seen. Took me around 1.5 hours to put together. Very sturdy and elegant looking. No power drill needed! I love it! Wish I could give more than 5 stars. Also, delivered in 3 days!
