We are Yuli and Alan Canseco, a couple of Oaxacan artisans passionate about creating hand-carved alebrijes. From a young age, we were captivated by the magic of transforming a simple piece of wood into a fantastical creature. Our journey started with many challenges, but our love for the craft and the support of those who believed in us kept us moving forward. Today, our workshop is a place where creativity flows freely, and where we share our knowledge with our team. We believe that art is a bridge that connects people, and through our alebrijes, we aim to bring joy and hope to those who encounter them.

Born and raised in Oaxaca, we have dedicated our lives to preserving and enriching the tradition of alebrijes. Our workshop honors our ancestors and the vibrant Oaxacan culture.
