I just received three of this particular "gold" Millenia area rug, each in different sizes. Both the photo and the text descriptions were totally inaccurate. The photo presents a rug that is subtle in color. In fact, the ones I received are quite brilliant, being for the most part bright pastels. There is no gold, and I'm not sure why that color was even chosen to twice describe the rug. The background is light beige. The blue end of the spectrum includes a substantial amount of bright light blue, as well as a medium slate blue and a darker slate blue accents. Included in the color scheme are a bright greenish yellow (of the pea-green variety), sage green, light green and dark green. The red end of the spectrum includes brick red, brown, flesh pink, dark mauve, rose pink, and a lighter pink.
The quality of the rug is excellent, with a very tight weave. The nap is quite short, almost to the point of appearing to be a woven rug.
My disappointment is with the photo and the text description, not the quality of the rug. I would instead call it a blue, pink and beige rug.
