Absolutely gorgeous rug. I get all of my rugs on Overstock--can't beat prices or delivery time.
This is a beautiful rug that goes perfectly in my entryway to my formal living room. I've had it for several years and it has held up perfectly in this high traffic area. It has a nice vintage feel with smaller loops than my other hand-hooked rugs. The background is more of a golden cream with sage and mauve in the flowers.
This rug is darker in color than shown online. It does not come close to the description of "Old World Elegance" nor 16th century. The pattern is larger than it appears in scale. Had it been a "subtle" color as described and in a smaller pattern it would have been beautiful. The design of the pattern is very pretty and detailed. The workmanship seems to be good. I haven't had the rugs long enough to give an opinion on the durability. If you like a large pattern and darker colors, than I believe you would like this rug. I bought 2 of them, one for my entryway and one for my bedroom hallway. I will not be returning these rugs because it's not worth my time or money to do so. They "will do for now" as I am in desperate need of these rugs.
This rug is a wool hooked rug which lays close to the ground. Goes with my kitchen nicely. Quality and colors are great, not overwhelming.
