I purchased 2 of these for both sides of king platform bed. I needed something under 20" as I have windows on the sides of the bed that start at 22". These are perfectly suited for my needs and the rounded style is an added bonus near a bed (no corners to bump). These were very easy to assemble- basically, just screw on the legs. Packed well and the style is a nice grey/white as shown-- very mid century. I very much recommend if you are looking for a smaller nightstand with unique color/style - and a good price.
That matches our dark wood bed purchased from another online retailer. I needed a taller nightstand because our mattress sits at 31 inches high. Once I started searching for nightstands, I found that most are under 24 inches tall and I never dreamed it would be so hard to find a taller nightstand! The look is very modern, just as I wanted. Yes ,as others have stated, it is a pain to put together. Many pieces...it took my husband a couple of hours to put 2 together and I think I heard a few 4 letter words uttered! Lol . But for the price you can't beat it! And yes, it is not of the highest quality, there were a couple of small dings that were easy to cover with a furniture marker and even though it is sturdy once assembled, I don't think it would hold up to constant use and the top may scratch easily. But as nightstands that are really for looks and to hold a lamp and maybe an alarm clock, it isn't going to be subjected to much use. Everybody that has seen them is impressed with the look and especially the price! I would definitely purchase again!
I purchased this to fit in a very particular space and while it is all that the other reviews have mentioned, it is not 25 inches tall but 26. I actually had to shorten the legs but the size was my main motivation for purchase. It works perfectly under my sewing table for extra storage giving me easy access to lots of 'stuff' that was previously using up table top space. I kinda resent how they keep changing the price. I was considering getting another one but the price is up almost 30.00 since I bought the first one- I assume because there are fewer to be had now. :( It simply isn't made that well to pay that much more.
I ordered one piece to try it out. I liked it enough to order a second piece. Shipping was fast and both pieces arrived undamaged and complete. A significant amount of the assembly time will be in figuring out the instructions. They compress too much information into each step. Recommend against using a drill. Most of the screws can be driven by hand and will give you a feel for when it is sufficiently tight. While using a drill is more convenient it also risks stripping the screws. The color is very dark. It is brown but in low light can appear to be black. The back is wood not cardboard. It is held to the back with screws not nails. Once assembled the piece is solid. When grabbed and shaken it doesnt wobble under its own weight. The drawers slide easily. They dont have the tight resistance point that some nightstands use to keep the drawer closed. Some nightstands push closed easily until the last ¼ inch. Then you have to push the drawer closed the rest of the way as if there is a small wedge in the track. Opening the drawer also requires extra effort. The tracks on this piece have a slight downward pitch at the point of travel where the drawer is closed. Gravity keeps the drawer closed and the movement is smooth and even through the entire length of travel.
