I liked the appearance of this barstool and found it easy to assemble. However it is too large in scale for my space so I am returning it and therefore am kicking myself that I didn't pay attention to the fact that I would have to pay a hefty return shipping fee.

The stools are heavy and sturdy. No tools required to assemble. Don't follow the enclosed directions by putting the top legs on first. Attach the bottom legs through the ring and partially screw them into the top legs before tightening all. I learned this by contacting the manufacturer directly. They responded within an hour. Wish they made products besides stools - I'd def. buy from them again.

I ordered one bar stool to see how we liked it first. Love, love it. I agree with some reviewers, it is a heavy stool, but extremely sturdy, well-built and beautiful. A 10 year-old could put it together - no tools required, just the ability to screw on the pieces for legs and give them a good twist. The bottom foot rest has metal on all sides, which we loved, so that that part of the stool is protect. It swivels easily, dimensions are just as stated, beautiful seat top. The top is a little on the stiff side, but will soften up with use. I personally like this so they will last a long time. I loved this stool so much, I went ahead and ordered 3 more today. There is an extra piece of let parts to make your stool a tall one if needed. We didn't need the extra pieces to fit it into our kitchen island bar. So glad I came upon these. I am extremely picky, and highly recommend this stool for any of you out there looking! Wonderful price and worth every dime.

I purchased three for my kitchen island and these do not disappoint. These are heavy and solid, have beautiful detail and they're wider than your average stools which is helpful if you have larger guests. I didn't realize when I purchased these that they come with legs for both counter and bar height. And these same stools sell for quite a bit more under a different brand name!
