A comfortable & stylish armchair to class up a room.
Brief Overview (more details below): I've been wanting to start building a book nook in my sunroom & felt like this chair could be a good addition to get the space started. Happy to report that I am so thrilled with how this armchair turned out!! I was a little nervous and maybe got a bit frustrated along the way that it somehow all the pieces might not fit together, but it all worked out in the end! Trust the process! The Build: All of the pieces aren't labeled, which the instruction booklet made me think they would be, so I just used the booklet step illustrations very closely to make sure I was doing all the right things & assembly went slower as a result. I did have to get my husbands help with the 'side, back & front rail bars' because of how they are wrapped & stapled. One side would screw together really easily, but then the other was too thick making the screw too short and unable to connect. We had to trim off some of the fabric, some extra little plastic pieces & even flip one of the pieces around, to get the washer underneath to help make everything as close together as possible & then it did connect! My Impression: After I was able to get everything assembled and I knew that everything fit I was better able to determine what I thought of the final product. I was surprised that what frustration I had in the moment with assembly has dissipated & I was impressed with how soft & cushy the chair is. I think because the cushions were vacuum sealed everything 'appears' very stiff, but that isn't the case. This chair isn't overly cushiony there is structure to it, but it has more cushion than I was maybe expecting for this style in the seat and back which was a big positive. The coloring of the light grey armchair matches the product image on site & the texture of the corduroy is so fun! The look & feel of the chair are high quality.
