This pot is a really pretty matte white and the pattern looks great in person. I was a little disappointed because the wooden stand is pretty rough. It's stained, but not smoothly and the edges look kind of rough-cut. There's what looks to be a lot of hot glue holding the pot to the stand. I guess I had assumed that the pot would just sit on the stand, and the glue looks kind of cheap. The tag thread was actually glued between the pot and stand and I wasn't able to pull the thread through. It's going to be tricky to cut close enough to the glue to remove it so I might just have to turn that side to the back—I'm worried about scratching the pot trying to get it off. Still, I love the pot and might try to add a coat of gel stain to the bottom. It came packed really well too.
