Biography added August 2019 "My name is Ni Ketut Lastini or usually my friends just call me NIK. I was born in Mas village, Ubud, Gianyar, Bali on August the tenth 1980. And I was so proud born in Mas village, where it also called Art village, for there are many wood statuettes maker in my village. Since I was a kid, I was able to make statuette with my parents and my siblings. I am the fourth child from seven siblings." "I love my childhood, I used to go to rice field after school. Sometimes I helped to make statuettes in order to get more money. The money I got usually to buy school stuff and even to pay for the school fee. I had to work since I was a kid because my parents are just farmers and statuette makers. Yet they are hardworking and that what made me who I am today." "Like other children in my village, I also went to school. Not just in primary school yet I finished my school time until senior high school. After graduating from senior high school, I began to work. My work career start as sales promotion girl. Beside promoting things, I used to sell fabric back in the days. And then eventually I met American couple. I worked for them as a shop keeper at their handicraft shop." "One day these American couple wanted to change their shop, they wanted to sell Christmas ornaments instead of handicraft. Yet, their intention was never come true because the wife passed away. Starting that moment, I wanted to carry on their intention, until today the shop becomes Christmas Shop." "Making Christmas ornament is also one of my hobby, and usually the idea just comes to my mind and then I make it alive. In making Christmas ornament I was helped by 12 people because I am still single. Besides making Christmas ornament I also love to do swimming, running or cycling. My hobbies causing my friends calling me a hardworking person and creative." "I know Novica because a friend suggested me to go to Novica. I hope Novica could promote my Christmas ornament so I can be part of people's Christmas joy. And also, I wanted to recycle less worthy things to be something better like Christmas ornament.
