It takes awhile for it to roll out smooth, I've had to walk on it to remove the rolled 'lumps', minor inconvenience considering its well made, beautiful color, and had worn very well in a high traffic area.
We love this rug! We looked for a long time for a high-quality rug for my son's bedroom. This rug arrived quickly, with zero issues. There was minimal outgassing (one day). The rug is soft and we have had no pilling or shedding. There is a slight sheen to the rug; for example, the color is slightly different when rubbed in one direction and then the other. This is not an issue for me. I love the color and feel it was accurately represented in the listing.
The rug is very expensive looking. Gorgeous texture, thick, a silky shine. But no avoiding it is blue. Hard as I tried to see it as dark grey, or bluish grey, which I like, there was no fooling myself. Had to return it and replaced with grey fog, which looks taupe on line, but is actually a blueish grey. The photo looks much more gray than the actual rug.
I really wanted to like this as the design was exactly what I was looking for. This is used in my home office, I'd say high traffic with a roller chair. The rug does look great. Unfortunately, this is my first time buying a wool rug (yes it's hybrid w/ viscose) it is still shedding one year later.I've followed all the advice I found in Google searches but it never fixed it and neither did time. Unfortunately, I have to recommend staying away from this item.
This rug has many reviews. It's a keeper.' Zinc' is a dark gray/ bluish. The nap does cause appearance color to vary like velvet. Pleasant texture, horizontal lines, enhance look of home. Would recommend. The rugs are in the hall, so not in a lot of light. It has been a couple of months and they still look new. Long term durability unknown. Using with high quality pads (Anchor pro low profile to hold onto hardwood floors).
I had high hopes for this rug and should have paid closer attention to the photos and zoomed in. From the first photo, I honestly thought it would be more solid gray in appearance, possibly tonal, but it is in fact heavily variegated and has distinct striations. Also the tones are not attractive and rich. It looks cheap. Purchasing rugs online is always hit and miss even though I usually have good luck on Overstock. If you are looking for a solid colored, modern silky rug there are countless others that are better and safer options. Due to my Club O membership, I immediately sent this one back and am banking on another.
Really wanted to love it but it stains super easily unfortunately. On the other hand, it does look very nice (where it isn't stained) and is soft. If you don't have dogs or kids it would probably be great.
At first I thought the rug was more gray than in the photo. Overtime, I can see more of the blue color that I was looking for to accent they room. Thank you.
just as described and would order again. We needed something to fit in with our existing furniture and this did the trick. Assembly was easy and very quick.
The color and texture of this rug are really beautiful. I left off a star because it arrived folded up so much so that a few weeks later it still is bunched and doesn't lie flat. When it finally settles, it's going to be great!
