I ordered the sheliving unit last week and received the delivery yesterday. Relatively easy to put together and looks pretty good. The only reason I gave 4 out of 5 stars I didn't care for the feet as they look pretty cheap. I'll probably install casters instead. It's a heavy piece so casters will make moving it around easier.
This media cabinet is not worth the money the doors are heavy and if you don't have it on a even floor such as wood it will lean forward unless you use the wall mounting kit.The one I recieved isn't even close to the color in the picture it is much darker. Also when you put it together you will need 2 people because until you attache the back it's not sturdy. Also the caster holes pre-drilled didn't all line up and had to be re-drilled before screwing them in place.I don't recommend it.
Fantastic shelving unit I use in my office to hold books, file boxes, decorative items and my printer. It was simple to construct, has a minor wobble, but is overall a solid buy. Reminds me of something I would have spent 3X as much on at Restoration Hardware. The casters are teeny tiny, but they do move the unit, albeit slowly. Overall, five stars to this item and the Renate line. I have a few pieces from it.
Very pleased overall; has the industrial look I was after. I was surprised to find that instead of four floor-to-ceiling rods supporting the shelves there are 20 individual poles-- which made for a very wonky and dubious assembly. Also, poor assembly instructions-- it should have been straightforward but I had to backtrack. Not important to me, but the caster wheels do not swivel. In the end, though, it looks great.
