This painting i placed over the sectional in the family room. The wall color in that room is a celery green and there is alot of black accents (entertainment center, lamp, etc). The painting pops off the green wall, and the black in the painting compliments the other furniture. Overall, it looks much more expensive than what I paid for it (thank you Overstock!). I have another large abstract I bought that was well over $350, and I like this much better. It really adds some sophistication and vibrancy to the room! LOVE it!
This painting was purchased to go above a my Aunt's bed in a studio apartment. The rest of the art in the apartment were colorful floral watercolors by my mother and this tryptic worked very well bringing all the colors together. When my aunt passed we gifted this art to our favorite hospice nurse who really loved these pieces.
I've recently become obsessed with blueprints. Have no idea why- they just make me happy. What I love about these peices is that they're a dark slate blue- not a bright blue. The subject of propeller planes is quite unisex in my opinion. These go beautifully in my living room which has an industrial theme.
This is a beautiful piece of art. While it does look a bit deceiving in size on the picture, it does sit nicely above an oversize couch. I have a rather large soda but it looks very nice above it. My picture does not provide an accurate view of the size as it looks bigger in person. However, it looks like a studio piece of art work and I've gotten many compliments.
