My husband wanted a rocker recliner with powerlift feature. This chair does everything but rock and he really wanted a rocker, so it was disappointing.
This is absolutely the most uncomfortable chair to sit in. I can't wait until I'm able to afford to buy a different one from a different company.
Not sure about the remote for lifting and laying down chair. Previous chair had built in switch on right arm. Will take time to get used to.

Chair came and it was lopsided, Right side lower than left side. Bought for hip surgery, Cause more problems being offside. Month later something cracked. Should have tried to return it but having surgery and being a senior citizen I just didn't have the energy to do so. Very disappointed.
The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is that one of the brackets for the arm piece was bent so badly that it was unusable. The strange thing was that the part was already attached to the chair, so someone actually screwed that in, knowing it was not going to work. I removed the bracket, took it to my auto mechanic friend and he was able to beat it into shape so that I could assemble the chair. The chair itself is extremely comfortable and beautiful and it works perfectly. I am very happy with the chair.
I gave this to a friend with a broken shoulder, and arm. they had to put it together, but her husband was able to get it together. This was a pay it forward gift.
so far so good, it was easy to put together and so far is comfortable and everything works, however make sure you read the dimensions, its too short for my husband who is just shy of 6ft! (i obviously didnt read the recomended height part of the description) dont assume Heavy Duty Large means for a large person its on the smaller size.
Although it didn't have any instructions, once I figured out how to attach the controls, it wasn't hard to put together. We have enjoyed it so far.
I have elderly mother who has difficulty sitting, sleeping, standing and among other health issues, she is cold all of the time! So investigated the lift chairs with all of the amenities that might aide in her golden years. I debated for some time until I made a decision to make this purchase. I pray it will help!
