I've have these chairs for about a month and am impressed with the look and use of it. I shopped around for similar styles and was really skeptical about ordering but figured for overstocks pricing I couldn't go wrong. I must say I am very pleased with it, it exceeds my expectations so far!! leatherette is soft and seems durable. I love that it can be adjusted to variety of heights it will double as a desk chair temporarily. While other reviews mention nicks or markings on the frame, I had no issues with that, it arrived in perfect condition! Thank you Overstock!!

21.5 inches to the lowest seat height is not accurate. Its the main reason that I purchased. Its 23 inches at the lowest.

Looks nice with my kitchen counter top. A little wobbly but not too bad. Stool is sturdy when seated. Seat is comfortable for up to 1/2 hour then shifting starts. The height adjustment works well. It sinks down about 3 inches when first seated but then stays put. I like them. They are functional and a good engineering design. Super easy to put together. Looks and feels more expensive then what they cost. I recommend them.

The quality and materials used on these adjustable barstools amaze me. Mine didn't come with instructions but none were needed! It was super easy to assemble and they are very comfortable! They will be a great fit in my new condo. So happy I decided to give these a try as my first purchase on overstock!

What a stylish chair! While I will admit this chair is not for plus sized ppl, if you are of average size(less than 200lb) you should be able sit comfortably!

"How do you adjust the height of the bar stool? I've purchased and LOVE them. They are perfect for the price and extremely comfortable. However, we cannot seem to figure out how to make the stool taller. There is a handle that has 2 options for positioning but its unclear which position the handle should be in when trying to adjust the height."

The handle is a release and the piston is hydraulic. Sit on the chair and put feet on footrest. Raise your weight off the seat and it will rise to the height you need, or conversely put more of your weight on the seat and it will lower... simply release the handle when it is where you want it... so even a short person can sit eye to eye with a taller person...

Between the camel and red swatches of 'vegan leather' is a close up of what the site describes as gray. I went back and forth between it and what I believe is the swatch of brown. Then, I compared it to the silver and, honestly, it was a process of eliminating all the other colors before I finally decided this MUST be the gray. Looks very different on the stool, itself, but that's what I eventually ordered for my breakfast bar. Fingers crossed!

I would say about 275lbs. Hope that helps. be advised that when you sit in the seat, it sinks down about 3" depending on the weight load. I am 210lbs and the chairs sink down about 2". Then they stay put. You can adjust them for your weight class. They are perfect for my kitchen counter.
