Skip it. It's awful
I purchased rug based on photos from others- and purchasing website - the dates where awhile ago… so I'm including mine from 2025. Got the Sahara color - not represented on the site well at all! There is the ivory (that I thought was the base color) running all thru it the brown spots had the ivory running all thru that and the taupe/light brown border and spots had no ivory (go figure). The base color is khaki not ivory coloring. Very dark- I think the zoomed pics best show the color I received. Some are solid brown like the images from website shows, my coffee table & couch will cover those. I'm beginning to think these are just expensive factory mistakes or seconds- really bad! - It is soft and the rug is wiggly not stiff like an all wool, that I like. So that's where the one star comes from. Manufacture sends it folded but the creases came out quickly! Smells- down right stinks to high heaven and there was a ridiculous amount of white powder that fell out - I'm assume that is something to keep it dry in shipping??? Vacuumed 2x top side, 1x bottom of rug and my bare floor, 3 Dyson (full sz vaccum) canisters full). Pad I ordered is delayed delivery, but we wanted rug to crease less and start drying out too- it was quite steamy when we cut the shipping bag open as it was delivered to a hot climate state. So hopefully by wks end it will not smell like funky old mulch smell all over our house by then. Dogs started sneezing immediately! Just Awful! Do not purchase this rug in any color. Can't image what those would look like- I find it expensive for what showed up compared to what others raved about in the past. I'm sure to return is difficult and costly on my part. Prob will only buy after seeing in person. Hv bought other rugs like this - but this is an expensive experience!
