Excellent for a double batch of chili. Easy to clean, easy to store nesting the stock pots inside one another. It is my go to stock pot.

I was so happy to find this pot. I had been looking for one this size to complete my set.

Just had the opportunity to use the stockpot. Wish we would have purchased this a long time back.

  • Magnalite's the best

I have a set of Magnalite that is 30 years old and has been used on a weekly basis-- it is still in beautiful shape and everything cooks great!! My mother is still using her "wedding" Magnalite-- she cooked in these pots for a family of 9!!! Her set is 55 years old and still going strong!! And, as she told me, don't put it in the dishwasher because they'll turn black-- she was right! My sister's 30 year old set is black and mine still shines since I wash them by hand and she doesn't. "Mama's always right!"

Excellent product. We have used it for Gumbo, Soup, Stew, and Chili so far with very good results. Holds heat good and cleans up easily. Nice finish and the lid fits the pot perfectly. Will buy more Magnalite products in the future.

  • Nice pot

I have not yet had the opportuinity to use the stock pot, but it appears to be well made. It has good fit and finish. It is not as heavy as one might think. In addition to making stock, I think it will be handy for soups, stews and gumbos when making that volume.
