    • DON'T ORDER LONGER LENGTH - not necessary
      Verified Purchase

I was praising reviews because I would have never thought to order longer length to accommodate for the twist tabs - now I have curtains dragging the floor because the person who said you need to order 6" longer is incorrect. Order in the length that you want your curtains to hang from your drape rod. Now I have to raise all of my drapery sconces 6" higher because I ordered them 6" longer which is NOT NECESSARY. The tab is a fold of fabric which is sewn onto the loop itself. Tying them does not cause your curtain length to shorten. Watch the video - it's very helpful. Trying to look at the bright side - maybe hanging my curtains 6" higher will make my ceiling height appear higher. These are beautiful curtains.

    • double check your length
      Verified Purchase

Be sure to order a length at least 6 inches longer than you need because the twisted tab top shrinks them by at least 6 inches. I ordered 84" but they were only 77" after following directions for the twisted tab top.

    • very pretty but at the same time dated
      Verified Purchase

Pros... these curtains were a surprise! It's hard to find lined curtains and these are lined in a way that filters just enough light but still offering privacy. the tie top is modern and unique. The fabric is durable and overall made well. Cons... the slight sheen is aging in a bad way. You have this modern tie top but the sheen reminds me of my grandma's curtains. Not to mention the taupe color is not my idea of taupe (light to medium sandy brown). It's more of a goldish brown which along with the sheen also adds to the overall dated look. One piece of advice... the instructions sheet on how to tie the tabs that comes with this is mostly worthless. There is a nice video at ****. c o m(pardon the spaces, not sure if O censors). Just go to the website and search the brand and name of this curtain. I haven't decided if I'm going to keep these. I may exchange for the cream but I'm afraid that color may be off too. Also I originally thought I would use these in our master bedroom but they may be more appropriate for a living room.

    • We Love These Curtains
      Verified Purchase

We ordered these curtains for one bedroom of our new home. They look so good on that window that we are ordering another two panels for our home office. I like the unusual look of the twisted tab. We purchased the longer size so the tabs hang higher than the level of the top of the window. They look good hanging from the top of the wall to the floor.

The panels look just like the picture. I ironed them, tied the knot and hung them up. They look great - received many compliments. I ordered the ivory and the color matches well. I also added some weights at the bottom because mine are hanging over sheers - they pleated nicely with little effort.

I'm glad I read the reviews before I ordered this product because, as one reviewer wrote, the taupe color is more like burnished gold. It's exactly what I needed for my living room decor. I hung this beautiful drape on a glass door that opens to my 3-season porch. I love the way it hangs and it has a rich, beautiful sheen. As for the tying of the panels at the top: I think the directions in both the print and the video make it seem as if it has more steps than there actually are. At any rate, I am very pleased with the results and I admire it every time I look at it. I've received lots of enthusiastic compliments on it as well. I think it's stunning.

"IS the pewter like grey? I need grey panels."

    • Q:

"Can anyone tell me if the TEAL is a blue-gray like it looks on my monitor, or a "crayon" girly color? I'm looking for something masculine to accent a gray color scheme. Thanks!"

      • A:

Mine are a pale seafoam green. No gray in them at all. They almost have a pearlescent shine in them. I don't think they are masculine at all.

      • A:

Sorry about the answer to this question. I was trying to answer the dusty aqua question and just noticed that this teal question popped up instead.

    • Q:

"Im looking for a darkish brown which one will be close to that? Pewter or spice? I was reading the reviews & it seems like the colors are kinda off. Thnx"

      • A:

I bought spice, it is definitely not dark brown, more of a rust or burnt orange,,it's a very prety color and these curtains are beautiful and really nice quality. Definitely worth the price. Pewter should have silver tones. Spice would go with dark brown though.

    • Q:

"After reading the reviews I'm a bit concerned about the length I need to order. Also was originally going to order the Ivory and am now considering the spice. Has anyone ordered the spice and are you happy with the color? Thank you for your input."

      • A:

I have the Ivory, 84 inch height and i love them.

      • A:

I bought the white and am very happy with them. I had to hem one pair because I needed 63 inch and they didn't come in that length. The other pair that I bought I still had to hem it a hem length because I put it on french doors and it still hit the floor. I found the tabs difficult to do and I sew but once I did them they look beautiful and their is a nice shine to them. I was going to get the dusty aqua but I have dusty aqua sheers and I didn't know if they would go.

      • A:

Thank you for your help and will try the spice.

    • Q:

"Is the Dusty Aqua a grayish teal color or a light blue or light green color? Is there a Pantone Matching System - PMS color equivalent that you can send me so I know what color the drapes are?"

      • A:

It certainly not Aqua, teal or light green it is a toss up medium green and maybe a army green has a nice shine to the material , I got them a while ago for winter will change in spring! I love the knots at the top, good price . Hope this helps.

      • A:

It's more of a Seafoam green color

      • A:

I think its more of a light green, and not Aqua. Aqua has traditionally been more blue than green.

      • A:

IT is a dark teal and I have them up with a sheer gray print and everybody compliments on them they look so good with my comfort set which is aqua, grey and teal pattern

      • A:

Mine are definitely a dusty Aqua. Very pretty.

      • A:

They look real close to as pictured. Very pretty. We have them in a bedroom with light grey walls and It's very attractive.

      • A:

i really have no idea i just purchased the Ivory ones and they are beautiful silky and soft

      • A:

Mine are a pale seafoam green. No blue or gray in them at all. They almost have a pearlescent shine in them. Just beautiful!

    • Q:

"When measuring do I measure from the top of the tab or from the rod?"

      • A:

The top of the fan sits right on the rod

      • A:

I hung my drapes over a patio door so I measured from the top of the rod to the floor. Since the drapes were shorter than the distance from the top of my rod to the floor, the rod had to be lowered. If the drapes are longer, then you would need to either raise up the rod or hem the drapes. Hope this helps!

      • A:

Since the top of the tab rests on the rod itself, measure from where you want the curtain to start. For example, do you want the top of the curtain an inch above the window or right at the top of the window. Then measure the length from there. My curtains are two inches above my slider and actually spread out in a fan on the floor.

      • A:

When placing the rod into the tab, the tab rests on the rod. So either way will give the same results

      • A:

        Top of curtain tab.

    • Q:

"I assume the 50" wide is measured on the bottom of panel. As shown in the picture how many inches does the top cover on the curtain rod ?"

      • A:

The top and bottom are the same width.

      • A:

The 50" measures the top/bottom of the panel. Each panel covers one side of the rod as shown in the picture. I initially ordered 2 panels but realized that I had nothing to cover the middle so I ordered 2 more. It did give it a fuller look but it was not to my liking. Consequently, I ordered a set of panel sheers to go behind the 2 panels and I like it SO much better. Hope this information is helpful.

      • A:

On mine 50x84 I have 4 panels and 4 sheers to cover about 100 inch window. 2 panels did not come close to covering the width. I measured it and with the tabs tied the panel is 25" wide at the top. The taupe with mist sheets looks awesome.

      • A:

When hanging the drapes as in the picture, you have to allow for the pleating look. The way mine are hung, each panel covers about 21 inches. The 2 panels cover a 36 inch window nicely.

      • A:

I have mine adjusted to 36" wide at the top and it still looks nice. You can pull or cinch the knots to what you like or need but not over 36"

      • A:

If you laid it flat the long way you will see it is completely even bottom to top on both sides, however, since the top is separated into pieces you can move the ends of the top wider if you so choose (if that is what you are asking).

"are they making Teal anymore I need one badley"

      • A:

The "Dusty Aqua" is the closet match to TEAL. That option is located in the drop down menu.

    • Q:

      "Are they energy courtains?"

      • A:

They have a lining but not necessarily energy curtains. I love these curtains. The color, texture and design. A very simple elegance.

      • A:

Definitely not, but very nice curtains.

      • A:

No, they are not heavy or for energy saving, but they are just perfect for me. I call them Simple elegance

      • A:

No, they are medium weight. They are beautiful!

      • A:

No. They have some padding and it does help with cold air. Linda Thomas

      • A:

I love the Madison Park Natalie Curtains. I would say these curtains are not truly energy efficient. With that being said, they do a terrific job of keeping out light and heat. Living in southern Georgia we get a lot of both.

      • A:

No they aren't energy curtains. They are nicely lined and good quality.

      • A:

They are fully lined so you cannot see through them on either side, however it will let some light come in. The are not listed at "energy" They are for decoration and privacy.

"Are the spice striped or solid, looking for one more pair of spice solid"

      • A:

They are a solid, not striped.

    • Q:

"I really love the look of the ties at the top, over the look of grommets that most curtains seem to come with now. But, I do need curtains that will slide easily to open and close. The ties look like they may make sliding open/close a little more difficult. How easily do they slide open and close; and when you do slide them close, does it take a great effort to "fix" them back to look nice again?"

      • A:

I was confused at first because the ties are not tied yet, but I followed the instructions and it was easy enough to do it. I have had compliments on my white set. I used them for a patio door. They slide well but I wish I had gotten a wider pair. I leave them pulled back all the time. I love them; they're elegant.

      • A:

I love these curtains and have no problem sliding them and they always look nice. I call them simple elegance. However, I don't need to open and close them very often, as I have blinds that I open and close, Hope this helps.

      • A:

Mine do not open and close easily. And purposely bought them so that they didn't move much.

The dusty aqua is a light turquoise and the real is a dark turquoise with more blue than green in it.

      • A:

I love these drapes, they are grey blue, just like in the picture they have posted. It's a soft color and looks great in our bedroom.

      • A:

It's a very light blue green - don't know what kind of monitor you have but they are just as pictured = Very pretty.

"Hello, In the picture of "Ivory" the color looks more like antique gold or beige. Is "ivory" like the picture or a true ivory/cream color?"

      • A:

        More cream than ivory

      • A:

        Pale cream

      • A:

I agree with the other two responses. Definitely no gold. I'm very happy with them...love the tab tops.

      • A:

Cream color. Nice curtains but, difficult to tie properly. Would recommend for bedrooms.

      • A:

Yes, definitely a cream color. I love them. I had some difficulty tying them but I searched the brand name and the description of the curtains on YouTube and found an instructional video. They turned out great!

      • A:

I ordered and was disappointed, the Ivory looks like the picture -- more like antique beige/oatmeal color. Definitely not typical ivory or cream color like the users who answered the question suggested. Maybe I wasn't very clear with what I was trying to ask :(

"Is the length true to size after doing the ties? If I need 84" do I need to order 95" to compensate for the ties?"

      • A:

It is true to size after you do the ties.

      • A:

with the ties done after hanging there is about 3-4 inches to the floor. I wanted mine to touch the floor but the next length would have required me to order ones that were too long and would requite tailoring. they look very nice

      • A:

You'll need to order the 95".

      • A:

My curtains were long enough, it depends on how high you are going to hang the rod. I needed 84 and it worked for me , the ties do not really take up alot of length, if you hang the road just above the window. I hope this helps.

      • A:

I did that and I wish I would have gotten the 84 because even with the knots. I got 95 because of the reviews and regret it
