Luma Comfort Cool and Warm Mist Humidifier with Auto Humidity Control

I received this product recently and am very pleased. I use it pretty much all day and all night. It's very easy to use and is almost completely silent. I really like the fact that I can choose between cool and warm mist. I've only been using it on the cool setting so far but have tried the warm setting once and was glad to learn that the water doesn't get boiling hot. It does a nice job of keeping my bedroom comfy. Best part is that I can set it to whatever humidity level I want and just leave it to do its job. Although a bit spendy, this humidifier is much better than some of the bargain ones I've bought in the past.

This humidifier is perfect for the bedroom: - warm mist option - super quiet - set it and forget it humidity control - runs all night on a single tank It's also very simple to set up and operate. The digital display is nice too - I can easily see it if I need to change the settings overnight. All told, this is a darn near perfect humidifier. The only request I can make is that I wish it had a remote. Otherwise, it's aces.

I've only had this product for 2 weeks but have used it in several rooms during this time. It is aesthestically beautiful to the eye and looks like modern art, but the beauty may come at a price because it is a bit bulky and dense to carry despite it's small size and it takes very little movement to produce leaks. It does a great job at keeping humidity levels between 30-35% and it is pretty quiet. The mist output gradually controls humidity then sustains it, if you're lookin for a big room powerhouse this is not it. I hope this ultrasonic lasts longer than my discontinued Shaper Image (4 months), but based on my experience the life of the product is directly tied to how carefully the water container is reattached to the unit and the surface it is placed on.

Keeps a 10 X 10 room very comfortable. Easy to use controls.

This is a nice humidifier and is providing relief to my mom who lives in Vegas (think hot hot and dry). Design is very cool and not as "appliance-y" like other ones out there. She likes the option of warm and cold mist. So far, so good!!

I am very pleased with my Luma Humidifier. I like the fact that I can use warm or cool mist, and especially that I can time the humidifier to go off after so many hours. It is a nice quality product and I think it was nicely priced. I also like the fact that I can regulate the misting as I have difficulty with my sinuses and it helps to keep my head clear.

If you don't have it on high speed setting the vapor just falls down on the device and the humidity skyrockets for a minute then it turns back on Other thoughts bought this because the air was so dry in my apartment that my throat and nose hurt at night. though my throat and nose do feel better at night but, i can only use this device in moderation. if i turn it on for the night i will wake up in the middle of the night coughing and trying to catch my breathe because the air is so thick and it feels like i just had water poured down my nose. this is with the device two rooms away and only set to 45-percent humidity. included is some plant seeds. now i am currently growing the "Money Plant" as the packet says

Moved to the desert and needed a humidifier to sleep comfortably at night. This has a great design that avoids the clunky and cheap look of most humidifiers. It doesn't have an auto-off setting, but it does have a timer you can set for up to 12 hours. At the medium setting, it can run on one tank for about 20 hours. I just refill it each night as a routine. Has compartments for vaporub and other items you may want to add to your experience. It does need a simpler refill process. You have to take the tank out, which then requires you to dry out the components on the base. That is unnecessary.

This is a really nice humidifier, and to be honest the product description doesn't do it justice. It has a fully automatic hygrometer along with a digital display. This let's you set the desired humidity level and the unit will turn off and on as needed. It also puts out a good amount of mist, particularly for a humidifier as compact as this one. The design is great as well - it's simple, but great visually. The pattern on the side of the base really makes it look expensive. We use this in our bedroom, and are planning to buy another one for our daughter's room as well. Great job all around here!

This humidifier has a nice large reservoir so it does not need to be refilled every few hours. I gave it 3 stars instead of 5 because even at the lowest setting it output so much cold or warm mist that it made the floor and carpet around it damp. I could only run it for a day or so and then had to let things air and dry out.

Will relieve waking up dry. Needs to be refilled nightly, and has never really satisfied, but I maybe using it in too big of a room.

If you are looking for a humidifier....this is it. I tell people who are starting to get a cold or have one...to use a humidifier by their bed.....its a tried and true intervention. Excellent design and works great

this unit is a little bit noisy during operation, but i like the way it looks and it functions well. i only use distilled water so it stays clean. it's pretty heavy, which is OK from a not getting knocked over standpoint, but makes it a little harder to fill. also, when it hits empty, it's very insistent (beeping) about being turned off or re-filled. this can be very annoying if it happens while you're sleeping. overall a good product though

We have been using this for 2 years and what a difference it makes. My husband and I both have allergies and I have asthma. With the Luma we both breathe easier.

Never was able to figure it out. Maybe my fault.

Decent...The old issue is the tank is took small...would have bought something with more capacity....Otherwise a very good piece...humidity level is perfect

Much better then baskets , this rolls nice and awesome for separating laundry into the Separate bags for easy washing by clothes or water temps

this product is very sub par and i would not recommend. it runs out of water quickly and beeps constantly so if you plan to have this in a bedroom, don't buy it!! I used it for a few weeks, then brought it to goodwill. waste of $$

The luma humidifier is not one of the better one out there. The cool and warm mist is a nice feature, but it's just way too small, have to add water every other day. And it doesn't rotate, so if you turn it up high, the area around the humidifier could get a little wet from the mist.

My unit is working as well today as when it arrived. My local climate is humid enough that I don't need to add moisture most of the year, but I use this machine a good four months a year when I must turn on the heat. In my bedroom, with the door closed, I can usually get two night's service from one tank. Parts still fit, and the controls all work (though it takes me a while to figure them out again after months of non-use. I've not tried a new demineralizer cartridge and probably should look for one.
