My old slipcover was wearing out had some very thin spots after about 5 years of wear and tear from my dogs and wanted to replace it with a new one. I did not want to spend a lot of money and it had to be washable because my dogs lounge on the loveseat with their muddy paws and bodies. This cover fits my loveseat with extra that I tuck into the cushions and it is washable. It works for me.
I purchased the mushroom color loveseat slipcover it was a good color match to the photo online. I found it pretty easy to slip on the cover over the overstuffed loveseat. When stretching it over the sides the bottom middle of the sides would not stay all the way down, it arched up in the middle and after couple of times of trying to stretch it, the slipcover would not stay down in the middle of the sides. The fabric is more silky feeling than I thought it would be, it seems to be durable but I thought it would be more of a cotton corduroy feel or crushed cotton chenille. The one slipcover for the seat cushions works well I had two seat cushions and it doesnt seem to show a big split, between the two. It has been in use about two months and makes the loveseat match the rest of the furniture.
This wasn't quite what I expected. I'd anticipated that "Separate Seat" meant there was a encasement for the seat cushions that was separate from the main slipcover. There isn't; instead there is extra material that slips under the cushions and then two seams that delineate the front of the seat cushion(s) to make it look separate. So far so good, but my loveseat also has separate back cushions which made it tricky. We got the seat covered and in place and then added the back cushions. There was not enough material in the rest of the slipcover to cover the back cushions, to tuck in between the seat and back cushions, and then to cover back of the loveseat. If the seat cushion coverage had been separate as I'd envisioned, it all would have been just fine. In order to make this work, we had to shove a dowel (broomstick) between the seat and back cushions and basically left most of the back of the loveseat uncovered. The dowel doesn't really "want" to go there so it is a bit visible in a couple of places. Beyond this, I really like the color, the material and how it stretches. The material itself is actually much nicer than I'd anticipated and I like the looks of the final results. Bottom line: Think twice if you have separate back cushions.
