I purchased two sets so that I could have service for 8 and I am very glad that I did. This set is beautiful. The "blue" is not noticeable on the cups and bowls which is a bummer but it is on the plates, especially the dinner plate. Wish that companion pieces, like larger meat platter and large serving bowls were available also but very happy with purchase.
I needed new dinner stoneware for everyday/company use and picked this style out because of the pattern and colors. I purchased 2 sets. They arrived very sturdily packed and with no breakage. As I took each piece out, I could not believe it! The pattern was lovely, the colors true to the pictures, and the intensity of the deep pattern and colors were stunning! They far exceeded my hopes! The stoneware is very sturdy. The pattern is perfect and frames the food around the center solid color. I can't express how pleased I am! I highly recommend this dinnerware!
We added this set to another to add some fun at dinner... mix and match and no one knows they are 2 different sets! the table is lovely the dishes are sturdy! lLove it!
I couldn't tell from the computer screen if these were dark brown or black. I was hoping for black but they are a very dark brown. I don't care. I love these so much that I'll go with dark brown. Beautiful dinnerware and very heavy/strong. We love them.
Colors are beautiful and the dishes are sturdy and heavy. These are our every day dishes and I am truly in love with them. I would definitely buy them again.
I love this dinnerware. The quality is just what was said. I've used it in the microwave with no problems. I would like to order more plates and bowls if possible.

Love everything except the mugs which are fine but in the small side. Colors are exactly like the photo and plates and bowls are perfect size. Base of plates not completely level so they wobble when cutting food so recommend placemats to absorb the sound.
