I looked for a long time to find a rug for our dining room, and finally found a design I loved in this.

I purchased 3 of these rugs in various sizes. They all came very wrinkled. I have ordered many many rugs from Overstock and these are the ONLY ones I have ever gotten with so many wrinkles. They do not relax over time. They must be steamed out and it takes several steamings to get them to look half way decent. But, then they are beautiful rugs. The quality is obviously not the best or they would not be so wrinkled when they were rolled up and they would relax and release their wrinkles. The pile height is very short so it's not a plush rug. I'm very particular about having quality stuff in my house and I still kept them. They are really beautiful. You just have to be willing to steam out the wrinkles and use a rug pad under them and you will be ok with them.

  • Beautiful rug, BAD creasing!
    Verified Purchase

I have this rug in this size, as well as the 5x7. It's beautiful and I love the colors! Note the carpet height in the description, because this is not a thick rug. That's fine for us, but it's something you'll want to make sure that you're okay with. (We have ours on top of actual carpet pad that we bought at a home improvement store.) You get a pretty accurate representation of the rug from the product description, as well as from the photo. The golden brown color is actually camel, and what they describe as sage green is darker--more of an olive. The brown is chocolate, the red a deep burgundy, and the seafoam is definitely more blue-ish than green. As to the creasing that has been mentioned in reviews of this size and the smaller size, it's DEFINITELY an issue. We solved the problem by using our steam mop (with carpet attachment) on the creases---that covered the entire rug, by the way. It took 30 or 40 minutes of steaming creases and standing on them after steaming, but they did relax and the rug looks beautiful now. I'd heartily recommend this rug if you have the ability to steam it, because I seriously doubt that creases would EVER relax without steaming.

  • Creases in Rug
    Verified Purchase

It has been a few weeks since we received our rug, and there are still creases and folds that have not flattened out from the rug being "rolled" up. I say "rolled" up, but it was more like it had been "folded" when we received it. The end of it remains a tripping hazard as it will not lay down, even though we have folded it under itself, and laid heavy books on it to flatten it out. I would put the blame for this on the rather cheap backing to the rug. Needless to say, we're less than thrilled with our purchase.

  • Nice for the Price!
    Verified Purchase

This rug is very nice for the price. The color decription is accurate and the quality is decent. Overall I am pleased with this rug. It might not be the highest quality rug out there, but for the price, it is just right!
