Pretty easy to assemble—just follow directions exactly. I attached the back upside down the first try because both pieces are similar in size. Matte leatherette- and very comfortable.
These are way more comfortable than I was expecting! I love the walnut wood veneer but we are starting to have an issue with it feeling like it doesn't have enough humidity in the air. Also the veneer chips EXTREMELY easily and that's an issue when you have kids or pets that jump on and off of these. I like the mid-century look and comfort aspect.
Chairs seemed decent. The wood on the back of the chair was scratched upon arrival. They seemed to be sturdy chairs, however we did not put together due to the scratch.
