I give this table a B+. It's pretty good for a house that has little ones running around. The top and edges are soft, so no more banged shins getting to the sofa. It's not leather, so we don't have to worry about what the kids messing up real leather or nice fabric. The top stitching is well done and the tufting looks even. It's very sturdy. It looks both modern and traditional so it works in just about any room. It's not too heavy, so I can move it about myself as needed. The dark pleather color is easy to match and looks like what I saw on my laptop. It was easy to put together. There were minor issues with the shelf. There was a pretty good gouge on one edge and a smaller one on another edge. The slats that make up the pattern were poorly connected in that they weren't level and there was roughness where they hadn't been sanded where they were joined. Having said that, for the price, I will fix those dings myself and once assembled, the shelf issues aren't too visible, especially as we have plans to put storage bins on the shelf. The shelf stain is slightly more red than stain on the legs, but no one would notice this but me, probably. Bottom line - it's not perfect by any stretch, but we can live with it. I like it. We got this table rather than an expensive one because we value our kids more than our furniture. The bottom line is that it looks pretty good. We can enjoy the kids and the table now and not worry.
This console went together quite easy and it is really pretty. BUT it has a horible strong chemical smell that is so bad we had to put it outside! The finish also scratches very easily with even gentle use. Then it went on sale after I bought it. Not happy with K and B Furniture Co.
We got rid of all of our furniture in our living room when we converted it to a music room. This piece added needed seating and later storage for drumkit supplies.
