This chair is a sturdy and relaxing chair.....it does a very nice full recline, isn't hard to push back in, and arms have deep storage spaces. It is smaller in size, but very sharp addition to the living room. Very pleased with our purchase. My husband loves the cup holders too.
I bought two of these chairs based on the great reviews. The one chair looked really great, the second, however must have been worked on by 2 separate upholsterers. The upholstery nails were place perfectly on the left side of the chair. The right side from the top of the right arm to the floor was wavy like a snake or an S. Rather than return the chair, I found upholstery tacks on Amazon that matched the ones on the chairs and proceeded to straighten the lines. This is no easy task for an amateur, but the top of the arm looks good now....., and the front of the arm is still a work in progress. There is still a slight bow in the placement of the tacks, but I can live with it until I get them all placed like they should be. The other issue is that the seats are hard. My first thought thought was these were the perfect chairs for guests you don't want to stay very long. They do soften up with use, but it felt like I was sitting on wood the first few times. The back of each chair is also hard. More padding is needed. I added thin cushions to make the chairs comfortable. I Pros: All, in all, they are pretty good now. The fabric is really nice. I love the navy blue. They look great, and they are not uncomfortable any more.
I needed something light enough that I could carry it up a circular stair and put together myself --- I managed both of these things! The holes for the pads on the arms were hard to get the screws into which is why I didn't give this 5 stars. The chair is comfortable for a short duration of sitting, I get uncomfortable if I sit too long (good idea not to do that!). It was a good investment for the money!
