We love this little fan! After moving into our new place, we decided to paint all of the walls and install new light fixtures throughout. The existing light was small, boring and gave off very little light. My partner and I both get warm at night, so we quickly decided that a ceiling fan was the right fit for us. Price was definitely a big factor in choosing this fixture, as there were some more expensive ones that we fell in love with. We were also concerned with the size of the blades, because our ceiling fixture is incredibly off-center (like, someone was apparently drunk and hanging upside down while installing the electrical work). All of those factors led us to this lovely ceiling fan! It works really well, it looks perfect with our decor, it was pretty easy to install (technically, my father-in-law installed it, but it looked easy enough), and it didn't break the bank. Even if we decide to upgrade it down the road, we'd definitely be able to use this elsewhere or it would still have been worth it for the price. Packaging: The box it arrives in is super tiny, so if you're expecting a normal-sized ceiling fan, look at the specs again. This thing is small but mighty. Some reviews mention the poor light output, but it hasn't been a problem for us. We're using it in a 12 x 12 room that has dark blue walls and one large window. We prefer the warm tone of the light and also use lamps on our nightstands as needed. If you need a lot of lighting, you may want to look for a fan that has multiple bulbs. Construction/Materials: The lamp looks pretty high quality and the nickel fixtures are solid and sturdy. The blades are much lighter weight than expected, and the wood grain looks more like a sticker put on (expected, for the price). Once installed, you can't really tell and it looks more expensive than it really is. One cool thing to note is that you can flip the fan blades to the other side for a dark wood look or leave it as the light wood pictured. My only wish is that there would have been 4 blades so we could have alternated the colors. Overall, if you need a simple, stylish and compact ceiling fan...this is probably a good one for you! And you can spend your money on other furniture. Because you know you're going to anyway.
I searched a long time for a light fixture for our living room, and finally decided to give this one a try. The dimensions are large, but it is so airy it doesn't overwhelm the space, and with 12 bulbs it gives off great light at full power, and beautiful mood lighting when it is on the dimmer. It seems very well constructed, and was simple to assemble and install. Perfect modern look in our space.
I absolutely love this pendant light! My only complaint is that when it was advertised it said that you could use a 100 W bulb. When I got it it said I can only use a 60 W bulb. But it is a beautiful light
Have to admit for the price this is the best fan I've purchased. It looks great, has great airflow. It took about an hour to install, pretty easy, had a bit of trouble setting the crystal part into the fan but the rest was easier than other fans I've installed. It is a lot bigger than I thought, if it was installed in a main living area with eight feet ceilings forget it, I have to duck under the light. Looks like it's meant for 10-12 foot at least. The complaints about replacing bulbs, small hands can do it without removing the fixture, and even still, changing a bulb once or twice in its lifetime by removing two wires and a couple of screws isn't enough to pass on this beautiful fan. Wish it had a remote but definitely not a deal breaker.
