I really wanted a wood storage shed, but the ones I found in this price range were going to cost around $200 to ship. This one for the price, the durability, the low shipping, the ease of putting together, etc. really can't be beat. Very spacious with nice hooks & shelves. I gave the instruction booklet to my handman who built the foundation to specs beforehand. Then it only took my boyfriend and one other friend a day and a half to put together. Considering they have minimal experience with this sort of thing, I'd say that it was fairly quick and easy.

Received our shed promptly; and delivery was placed on our driveway, away from the street. After completing the two box's inventory, began the construction INSIDE our 10ft x 16ft gazebo. My friend assisted me, and was a big help. It is nice for someone to hold the walls while attaching the hardware. We only stripped two of the holes during wall construction. Just be easy, after completion, the whole shed will be tight. The most difficult part is the roof & gables. Just because the walls are up, the shed remains very loose. It took a lot of patience and perseverance to complete the roof. C-clamps helped a lot to hold the wall pieces tightly together due to the strict tolerances of the roof pieces. Just because the walls are installed does not prepare you to add the roof with ease. PATIENCE! It will work, so take the time required to complete the job. My complaints are few; the "sky-lights" provided are opaque, more gray than white. So don't expect much internal lighting. The window is nice, but is easily scratched if not careful when opening or closing it. One other thing is many of the pieces have small indentations or molded openings. Make sure you silicone them up, or insects can easily make your shed "home". One important point; When the instructions state to install the internal shelves...DO IT! It really helped to stabilize the shed while adding the roof. Anyone can build these sheds...take your time, and when done, it will be a proud time to celebrate. PATIENCE!

First, Overstock was great. They even intervened with the shipping company and made certain that I didn’t have to unload the delivery truck. However, I’m disappointed in the Lifetime shed (Model # 6405). I found there is a big difference between seeing one of these sheds up and actually putting one up. My biggest complaints are the quality of the hardware, how gingerly the shed had to be fastened together, and anchoring of the shed. The truss assembly hardware in particular was a problem. Tightening the bolts with any effort broke them. I eventually had to discard the bolts (and nuts) and buy others. Rather than loosen those I had already used, it was easier just to tighten them until they failed. This was unforeseen and unacceptable. What was somewhat predictable was knowing that screwing a metal fastener into a plastic part is not the best situation. Very few of the screws in the walls, gables, and roof panels are tightened down to my satisfaction. I had to tightened each screw by hand (no drill) to make sure it didn’t strip. The three that did had to be epoxied in. (Hanging anything heavy from the walls or trusses is not an option, neither is hanging rain gutters.) Anchoring: a bolt through the floor in each corner of the shed doesn’t seem likely to anchor anything but the floor itself... keeping in mind that the rest of the shed merely “snaps” into the floor. Somehow the walls and roof should be better anchored, perhaps with ties into the truss assemblies. I’m concerned how this shed will hold up to the wind and snow load. One final thought, a foundation should not be built until the instructions have been read. The shed is not 96 inches x 120 inches.

8' x 10' Storage shed... Nice Shed... make sure you have a pretty square & level base! M\y base was built using two "4 x 10' & two 4" x 8" 4 x 4's, using 1/2" plywood as the flooring, wish I had used 3/4" plywood 1/2" has a little "soft play" in the floor, but is working well so far! Shed is a "job" to get done. Do have 3 people to assemble, I did mine with two people & would have been a little easier with 3 people for at least the walls installation. For a "Plastic shed" still has quite a few "screws & bolts" Don't use a screw gun on plastic... very unforgiving! Also the "instruction booklet" is really "vague" on a lot of the procedures, my main issue was the calling out of the screws as IE: ADZ... and actual bags of bolts were a Sears PN/ 100***......??? Overall the shed is excellent... just takes more time than ya think to get it right! I am happy so far with this shed & I would recommend it for the price! I paid $967.72 for this shed... free delivery! I personally would not go beyond that price.

This shed...where do I start? I bought this off here for a great price. After reading reviews, I thought there was no way I would get it out together, but I was wrong! It took a few hours one sunny afternoon and I had a huge ge amount of storage space for all my lawn equipment. The shed is tricky to line up properly but after watching a few videos online, you couldn’t even tell anything was off. If you want a high quality, long lasting shed that can be assembled in hours, I highly recommend this shed! Do yourself (and your overcrowded garage a Favor) and buy it! You won’t be disappointed.

My last house I built an outdoor shed from scratch and ended up putting about $3500 in it. This time around I didn't feel like spending the time or money building another one so I opted to go with a pre-fab. I love it. The hardest part of the whole project was building the base deck for it because it was on a slope, but the actual shed assembly was pretty easy. It took me about 3 days working a couple hours a night on it to get it completely put together. The doors were a little tricky and the screws they give you to hold it together are a little short, so you have to make sure you have a tight fit before you screw the parts together. If you try to unscrew and re-screw the pieces the vinyl will strip off in the threads and then you're out of luck. I poured a small concrete pad in front of the doors for easy entry and added gutters and some drainage and I'm in total for everything way less than half what I would've spent building a shed from scratch. Really happy I went with this option.

Love the appearance of the shed but very important to have a very flat and level base to put the shed on. I built a wood PT base on pre cast pillars from Home Depot the assembly took about 6 hours and I recommend not putting the shelving in until the shed is completed. I made the mistake on this for two shelves that pulled out due to the movement of the shed during install of the doors and roof.. after it was completed it is roomy and everything we needed.

Great size, ride-on mower takes up almost half the room and the other half is good for tools and takes and such. Perfect size for what we needed. We love the option to add shelving and also that it’s durable material but still light weight enough that if we needed to move it we could.

This shed was fairly easy for my husband and I to put together. It isn’t the most sturdy; however, it is perfect for a lifetime shed that isn’t made of wood. You definitely need to build a solid base because the floor is made of thin plastic. We used a thinner plywood than suggested, merely to save on the cost. The cotter pins for the doors seemed a little cheap and difficult to install at first. Overall, it looks nice and for the size, the price is on point. The wall hooks don’t seem like they will hold a lot of weight. If you need more than a few days to install, don’t leave the plastic in the hot sun because it will warp and make it difficult to install. We learned that the hard way and killed the grass in the process.
