Received our shed promptly; and delivery was placed on our driveway, away from the street. After completing the two box's inventory, began the construction INSIDE our 10ft x 16ft gazebo. My friend assisted me, and was a big help. It is nice for someone to hold the walls while attaching the hardware. We only stripped two of the holes during wall construction. Just be easy, after completion, the whole shed will be tight. The most difficult part is the roof & gables. Just because the walls are up, the shed remains very loose. It took a lot of patience and perseverance to complete the roof. C-clamps helped a lot to hold the wall pieces tightly together due to the strict tolerances of the roof pieces. Just because the walls are installed does not prepare you to add the roof with ease. PATIENCE! It will work, so take the time required to complete the job. My complaints are few; the "sky-lights" provided are opaque, more gray than white. So don't expect much internal lighting. The window is nice, but is easily scratched if not careful when opening or closing it. One other thing is many of the pieces have small indentations or molded openings. Make sure you silicone them up, or insects can easily make your shed "home". One important point; When the instructions state to install the internal shelves...DO IT! It really helped to stabilize the shed while adding the roof. Anyone can build these sheds...take your time, and when done, it will be a proud time to celebrate. PATIENCE!

We have had this shed did a few years now and haven't had any problems! Held up great through weather and use. Still seems brand new. Also, the guys who set it up were quick, accommodating and then Shed was put together without any problems.

  • VERY NICE SHED. DOORS NEED IMPROVEMENT!
    Verified Purchase

I PUT THIS SHED TOGETHER MYSELF. I ONLY NEEDED SOMEONE TO HOLD A FEW PIECES IN PLACE WHILE I SECURED THEM AND MY ELDERLY MOTHER WAS ABLE TO DO THIS FOR ME. I HAVE HAD IT UP FOR ABOUT THE LAST SIX MONTHS. IT HAS HELD UP WELL. NO LEAKS OR ANY SIGN OF WATER GETTING IN SO FAR. THE DOORS NEED IMPROVEMENT. THEY DON'T STAY SHUT. I KEEP SOMETHING AGAINST THEM AND WHEN I TAKE IT AWAY, THEY WILL STAY SHUT FOR A WHILE AND THEN POP OPEN. THE SLIDE LATCH AT THE BOTTOM DOESN'T REACH THE POINT IT SHOULD TO SECURE THE DOORS FROM THE BOTTOM. I GOOGLED THIS ISSUE AND THERE ARE MANY OTHER PEOPLE WITH THIS ISSUE TOO. I READ WHERE ONE PERSON BOUGHT SOME SORT OF SLIDE LATCHES FROM LOWES OR HOME DEPOT TO MAKE THE DOORS SHUT AND STAY SHUT. I AM GOING TO LOOK IN TO THIS.

Loved the rafters in it to hold more yard tools and extra supplies. We have had it for 10 years and it has worked perfectly. No warping or damage at all. It has been great!

Love the appearance of the shed but very important to have a very flat and level base to put the shed on. I built a wood PT base on pre cast pillars from Home Depot the assembly took about 6 hours and I recommend not putting the shelving in until the shed is completed. I made the mistake on this for two shelves that pulled out due to the movement of the shed during install of the doors and roof.. after it was completed it is roomy and everything we needed.

  • no paint required!

I've had this shed for about 7 years, and it looks just as good as it did when I first got it. It has withstood the hot summers and cold, snowy winters of Utah, while keeping my stuff safe and dry. Assembly took some time, but was straightforward, with good instructions. The window and skylights let in plenty of light, and the double doors allow easy access to bikes, mowers, sleds, etc. The shelves are a great way to keep smaller items from getting buried. Only downside, is how quickly we've outgrown it. I need to invest in a second shed!

Waited until I had proper concrete base before erecting it. Found the corner walls difficult and I do think the design could be made more user friendly. The doors do not meet properly (too close) and there is no way to adjust them. Found it relatively easy to erect and I think the skylight is a great idea. I like the look and feel of the material for the roof and walls. Have bolted it down due to the winds we get in the Isle of Skye. Would have given it 5 stars if not for the doors.

We bought this shed right after we moved in and love it sturdy to stand up to the snow and wind of Davis county Utah. The process went fairly quickly except the door locking mechanism that could have been a little easier to install or less parts to it. Other than that it hold my out door equipment and outlet family get together chairs and tables great with extra space to spare.

I bought this about a month ago and assembled it with my son. It took us about 8 hours. You definitely need 2 people to assemble it. It has been sitting on my concrete slab with still nothing in it. My front doors did not meet to close. I called the company and they said they would send two smaller channels for my doors and this will solve the problem. Almost 20 days have gone by and still no channels. Called again and they said they were on back-order. Forget the back-order/ send me the channels from somewhere. Other than this problem the shed looks very nice and seems it will last a long time. However, it may last longer than me since it is not in use and who knows how much longer I will have to wait for the channels.

I have had this building for about 3 years. The hardware that comes with it to hold yard tools is inadequate. No matter where I put the bar with hooks to hold a shovel , broom ,etc . ,the tools fall off eventually. I even have tried lighter items ,but get same result . I am a fairly handy person ,and installed this myself , but it's frustrating .

  • Reasonable storage shed
    Reviewed at http://www.lifetime.com/

I've had my storage shed for a couple years and have mixed feelings. The assembly was not that difficult, but it does take a while. That being said, you should expect building a shed to take a good chunk of time. I like that it came standard with windows and ceiling panels (I had a previous Rubbermaid shed that did not). Shortly after assembling the shed, I was trying to adjust the door handle and it broke. I called Lifetime a couple months later and asked what it would cost to get a replacement. To my surprise, the customer service person said they would be happy to send a replacement handle at no charge (even though it was my fault). That was a refreshing experience. My only negative comment, which is actually a sticking point for me, is the door alignment. I've spent hours trying to manipulate the way the shed sits (on a wood floor) so the doors would line up correctly. Nothing seems to work...at least not permanently. I thought I had it once, but the heat of the summer expanded the plastic and it didn't stay. Also, the metal mechanisms that "lock" the door into place at the top does not stay put. If the wind blows and shakes the door, the metal piece drops and the door becomes loose. It doesn't completely open since it is still latched at the handle, but it's always loose. Maybe the newer sheds have a fix for that, but so far my experience has been a bit frustrating.

  • Best shed for the money

I bought this shed over a year ago. I was able to assemble the shed mostly by myself, needing help from my neighbor when it got time to put the roof on. Took two days, including my constructing a wooden foundation. All the parts were labeled very well and the instructions are clear. I had a small problem with the doors not aligning but my neighbor and I used a jack to lift one side of the shed and placed a couple of additional wood blocks to make it square. No problems with leaking at all. Very well made and maintenance free.

I have had this shed over a year now. There are definite pros. I love not having to maintain it, and putting it together was fairly easy. It seems sturdy and handles the storage I need it for quite well. One con I experienced is that in high wind situations, some of the roof screws shake loose. So, I often find myself putting one or 2 back in every month or so.

This was the perfect shed for my lawnmower and garden tools. There is also plenty of room to store lawn furniture during the winter months. It was easy to assemble and has held up great in Oklahoma's windy weather.

Very pleased with the unit but the doors are too big and will not close. Customer care was notified 2 weeks ago and still have not received the parts to fix the doors. I give the unit a 5 but customer support a 1.

  • Quality Shed.
    Reviewed at http://www.lifetime.com/

Overall , happy with construction quality. The manual needs updating. QR codes that link to videos of construction are out of date and all linked to Lifetime website front page. You had to manually type in URL's to view the videos on Youtube. Bags of screws were labeled clearly and usually more screws than actually needed. Two people minimum need to assemble the shed. The walls required quite a bit of force to seat in to the floor. Shed looks good and I am happy with it.

I bought one of these sheds last year for up to our camp. That worked out good ,so buy what works. The shed takes about 8 to 9 hours from putting the rafters together, to building the shed. That's if you have the platform built. Make sure your platform is level. I put it up with the help of a friend. three people would be great , but two works. Went together with no problems. Very easy instructions to follow. The construction of the shed is better than others I looked at. Much stronger walls and doors. Make sure when your putting together not to over tighten the screws. Just snug, that's all you need.

This is the third Lifetime shed we have purchased. Excellent product, nice storage space. Definitely follow the instructions when putting it up! Best thing is to have one person reading the instructions and two people doing the work to have the project be successful.

This was challenging to assemble. I built the wood frame from treated lumber to build the shed on. This cost about $*** extra. I did this to ensure a level base. Well worth the extra expense. For the most part, the shed assembly went rather smoothly. I did assemble most of it by myself, but an extra person would definitely have helped. If you need 3xtra storage, this shed is definitely worth your consideration
