Time will tell if this cooler is as good as my friends with the same brand. His holds ice very well but this one seems to feel lighter. The cooler took close to a month to arrive. Hopefully, it will hold ice as anticipated. The lid seems to feel lighter than my friends model from two years ago.
This thing is a beast! It holds a lot and the ice retention has been amazing. I liked it so much I bought a second one. Do let it be known, this thing is heavy! Worth the struggle though as it has kept ice 5 days so far in the back of my truck in the high 80's to mid 90's every day. Initially I thought the cooler had a leak as pictured, but it was just a loose drain plug. I also attached a picture of the corner damage from shipping. Minor, but it was notable. I think that the damage is all from shipping and handling.
Haven't used it yet , going to . Quality looks good
Love this product
I just purchased my ice chest and its way lighter than my yeti and keeps ice just as long. it was also missing the drain plug but once I contacted lifetime they sent me one.
Great cooler
A piece of the drain plug was lost. I called customer service and they were excellent at sending out the part that was needed.
Great warranty replacement service. Rep was very friendly and easy to work with
My boyfriend and I love this cooler. Hunting, fishing, drinks, you name it! We've had this lifetime cooler for 2 years now, and would tell anyone to get this over any other leading cooler brand. Lifetime's customer service is impeccable! Lifetime has a lifetime customer in us!
We took this cooler on an 8 day rafting trip in Utah with daily temps in the 90s and it was awesome. Packed with 8 frozen half gallon jugs two days before launch, it kept ice until day 7of the trip (9 days after packing) and was still plenty cold at the take-out. It was the last cooler with ice on the trip and even outlasted rotomolded coolers (non-scientific comparison). The lid is SOLID and great for standing on (as you do in a raft). The only thing I didn't like were the sharp(ish) corners on the lid for placing locks. These were too sharp for having on a raft where people are constantly climbing over/around the cooler. I removed the stainless plates for locking the corners and filed the plastic locking tabs on the lid corners round to remedy the problem. I was really impressed with how this cooler performed and would highly recommend it.
