Poor assembly instructions

These are very nice, sturdy, comfortable chairs.
However, the assembly instructions leave out some key details. I bought 6 of them and the first chair took as long a time to assemble as the last 5 because of the learning curve. They leave out some key installation steps, so it was trial and error on the first one. I had to take the chair apart again after the first assemly attempt. Although they identify the front cross support with a hole, they fail to tell you which side is up. You need to put the curved side up and the flat side down. The back support also can be installed upside downB844 by. Check that the angle of the support makes the legs spread out in order for the back to match the bolt spacing. Tricky.
It is very difficult to use the provided Allen wrench to assemble the chairs. You can only turn the screws about a quarter of a turn at a time with great difficulty repositioning the wrench for each turn. I ended up cutting off the 90 degree bend so that I just had a straight Allen section. I put that in my drill and used that to put in all of the screws. Doing this, you can apply a downward force on the screws as you install them. This made assembly a breeze.
As others have mentioned, installing the seat bottoms takes some patience as there are no predrilled holes.

Good color and sturdy chairs. They were tricky to assembly but they are good quality and Schick. We liked them well enough that we are considering to buy another pair.

They look nice but the color is much more muted than pictured and they don't have pre drilled holes for the seat which is the most frustrating part. Long assembly time!!

Amazing Mid Century Dining Room Chairs!

These are amazing mid-century chairs. Always get compliments. The walnut and green combo is very premium. I added them to my Room & Board table and get more compliments on the chairs then the table! Bought 4. The only feedback is the plastic floor protectors under the legs are shoddy, so I replaced them with felt ones. Highly recommend!

Great chair but assembly a bit challenging

These chairs look great, are sturdy and comfortable. Love the green color. I agree with other reviews that assembly was more challenging since the chairs do not come with pre-drilled holes in the seat and chair frame. You will have to center and then use a drill to create starter holes. Deducting one star for this, but overall very pleased with the chairs.

I really like these chairs, they are comfortable, sturdy, and stylish. But the legs came with minor scratches and as others mention you have to make holes in the seats to attach them, which is rather annoying. But overall I aM happy with my purchase.

OK, BUT LOOK ELSEWHERE FIRST.

these are ok, if you get the right pieces and if you get them together. they are not that easy to put together, especially the upholstered pieces which do not have screw holes in which to screw them to. One of the six we purchased came with defective legs, and the wait to receive the replacement legs was kind of annoying. Overall, they are decent chairs, just kind of not what we expected.

Love them. Assembly not so simple but worth it.

I love these chairs. They are very sturdy. The assembly would have been a nightmare if I hadn't had a ratchet/allen head tool that I could put the legs on with and the seat was not predrilled so I had to make sure I had it lined up and centered myself. I'm not great at those kinds of things, but I managed to not ruin it. It says you only need a screw driver, but for that... you really need an electric screwdriver which I had or I would have gouged the chair. They are beautiful tho and if it weren't for the assembly things, I would have given them 4 stars. Save yourself some cussing and make sure you have the tools on hand you need.

Nice chairs, disappointing packaging

5/5 stars for the chairs, but 1/5 stars for the packaging. So much styrofoam in the year 2022?? Do better. Anyway, the chairs are a nice dark green, sturdy, and relatively easy to assemble!
