DO NOT BUY THE BLACK
I actually like this dresser. It's a smart, modern yet vintage look. It's heavy so it feels substantial and I like how the drawers close softly. HOWEVER, it shows every single little finger print or touch, piece of dust and now there's white marks all over it? And I'm a very clean and tidy person. If you're not even remotely greasy, but just have life flowing through your veins, every time you touch anything but the handles, even accidentally, darkened "grease-like" spots will show up. I don't know if I'm missing something - like some sort of coating I could have put on it or something to minimize the fact that a human is interacting with this piece of furniture, I'd love to know about it. For the price it looks good from AFAR but it could have been $2 and nothing would justify the way the most innocent touch leaves behind oily-looking spots. If you were looking to catch a thief though, this would be THE dresser to go with. This cheap material is a forensic investigator's dream.
