I wanted this iron after seeing it on a crafting show and it was time for a new one. I've never spent so much on an iron before. It's nice but not as comfortable to use as my old iron (Black & Decker). I have issue with the grip. It seems too thick at least for me. I don't like how it feels in my hand where the two plastics meet (yellow and white). My hand gets fatigued after using it for a long period of time. It is heavier so no more pressing your iron down on the item you're ironing which I like. The fact that you don't have to set it up is a plus and that is what drew me to it in the first place. I do a lot of sewing so it's great when working on a project; just let go of the handle and it pops up. That part takes some getting used to. I do like the way the iron is filled, less spillage. Overall, I'm not sure I would purchase again. I wanted to love this iron but sadly I don't. If you're going to iron you'd better have an iron that feels good in your hand and is comfortable.
This laundry hamper is exactly what my family of five and I were looking for for our large volume laundry room - and we were excited to see that Overstock was carrying it! It arrived a little later than the estimated delivery time quoted on the website in a large flat box. Initially we thought we had made a mistake purchasing this and would have to send it back. Assembly was challenging because the instructions are not complete nor do they provide good pictures to help guide the process. We have seen reviews on this and similar products note that the holes do not line up allowing for the top and bottom supports to attach to the side rails. We thought this was the case with ours too but there is a "trick" that the instructions do not explain. You MUST attach the top horizontal piece to the side rails BEFORE you attach the bottom piece. Then when attaching the bottom horizontal shelf-like support you may have to pull the sides of the vertical pieces in to line the screw holes up - which really requires two people to accomplish. A hex wrench is included - no additional tools required As far as durability, the liner, metal construction, and industrial wheels all seem very rugged. The liner is definitely more of a yellow-cream or beige/tan color and made of a something that reminds us more of backpack material than canvas. The clips that fold over and attach the liner to the metal frame appear well designed and able to hold up to full loads in the large basket without tearing or separating out of place. Two of the four wheels have a toggle on them that allows you to "lock" them in place. We're very pleased and definitely recommend this item for those that are looking for a product that falls outside standard laundry hampers or sorters, especially if you like an industrial/retro chic look. It looks GREAT in our laundry room!
As expensive as it was I expected something quite different. The price should be lowered. The cover was dirty but I love the swirl of blue and yellow. It's just alright. Nothing exceptional.
