Having a small laundry "closet" with stacked machines, I needed a shelf unit that could be built in the narrow space adjacent tot he washer. This was perfect for my needs. It is ingeniously designed, with fittings that snap together on the poles, and each shelf fits securely on the fittings. It is sturdy enough even for large bottles of detergent and bleach, and got everything up off the floor.it rolls back for easy floor cleaning, too.
We purchased two of these shelf units to stack together and form a single tower for towels in a bathroom alcove. The design is extremely clever using tapered plastic split collars to lock the shelves at the desired height. The taper is slight so one has to look carefully to make sure the collar is narrow diameter up. The whole thing fits together beautifully to form a sturdy shelf unit - - clean, functional and a great price.
I thought the extra money woud give me extra strength. There is no way to make a cover for this rack. Had I bought one with a top shelf I could stack stuff upon it and steady it. I did like the bottom rack so long garmets dont drag.....too bad they can't make the same shelf for the top. Roller do not have a lock to keep them in place.
“Non-woven” is a really weird way to say “this is a plastic rack with shelves made of plastic-adjacent fabric”. But once it goes together it’s stronger than you might imagine, and you can stack them. Not the prettiest thing I own but it does its job.
