a mess

This is not black- it's a dark navy blue. Also this is a very firm couch which could be a plus or a negative for you- for me a negative. This is also not a comfortable couch to lay on the couch is essentially in pieces so it constantly moves around and separates. The crevices make it impossible to sleep on as well. Overall not a good purchase. Wish I would've returned it. You have to assemble EVERYTHING as well and it came with torn in some spots.
