I just received delivery 2 days ago, so not a lot of experience with my laundry suite as yet, but have used many of the great features noted on this set with great success. I have the LG Electric Turbo/Steam Washer with Sidekick extra washer in the pedestal plus the companion dryer - also with steam option, and I have loved what is happening thus far. My old set (45 years old Maytag) was still functioning well, so we will see about longevity with this new exciting set. Looking forward to many years of clean, sanitary, wrinkle-free clothes.
We had the exhaust fan installed in August 2016 and have been very happy with its performance. It has 4 speeds, the lowest being quite quiet and the highest being exceptional at sucking away any moisture from the air when boiling water for pasta. When you turn it to the highest speed, you can actually see the moisture that accumulated on our kitchen window (from several minutes of boiling water) disappearing ! The fan also has a 5 minute timer. In addition, the 2 LED lights have 3 settings, the highest being almost bright enough to light up the room, and they use very little electricity. The price was also very reasonable.
The house we built is in a rural area. I didn't want to deal with a large propane tank for gas, but I didn't want high electric bills. That's why I got this induction cooktop. But saving on electric bills is just one of the reasons I love this. It's a dark gray which I like better than solid black because it goes better with my countertops. It's super easy to clean and always looks good. My former gas cooktop was a nightmare to clean and didn't even look that good after I cleaned it. This cooktop has a feature where you can sync two burners together to make one large cooking surface. They even include the griddle-type pan to do it. I thought of it as a gimmick I would never use. Turns out that I love it. I use it to brown large quantities of meat before I put the meat into the crockpot. You could also use it to make something like pancakes. The cooktop brings water to boiling in virtually no time, so I can cook pasta very quickly. Once you take the pot off the burner, the burner shuts off automatically. Also, if you turn down the "heat", it happens instantly. It also has a kitchen timer, which is a nice bonus. I've been using it for about three months now and I couldn't be happier.
It's not as heavy as my old microwave, but it heats better. It has so many preset options, and it's hard to burn anything that's cooked in it. I sure do wish I had the toaster or any other counter top appliances to match it.
