Just received this buffet - has a very "world market" look to it (clearly marked "made in India" so I'm not surprised).... love the look, quality and "heft" of this very handsome piece of furniture.

This piece is exactly what I needed for my kitchen/breakfast nook. There is a ton of storage space with four drawers and three cabinets. The sliding glass cabinet doors are very stylish. I'm very happy with this purchase.

I really love this buffet! We sort of hobbled a dining room together from different sets because we couldn't find a table, chairs, and buffet that we liked all from one collection. What I like most about this piece is that it is a versatile style choice. It could look at home in most rooms. The piece is very well made and very heavy. The drawers slide easily in and out, and the sliding doors also maneuver easily. I wish the pieces of wood that the doors slide on were more secure, though. I may try and put in a few more nails to be sure they keep in place over time so the doors continue to slide easily. It was hard to tell from the picture and description online, but the bottom of this piece has three separate compartments, each with a fixed shelf; so, you end up with six little storage compartments behind the sliding doors, with no way to reconfigure that storage. The center door also slides. The glass, which looks black in the picture, is clear. The drawers do NOT have dovetail construction, but they still seem sturdy. Many people have inquired about the type of wood. I really have no idea what type of wood it is exactly, but it is sturdy (no mdf). The finish is a dark espresso (or, I guess dark mahogany), though it is most definitely brown, not blackish like some espresso colored finishes, or reddish like some mahogany finishes. The wood is slightly distressed, which I think adds to its character, and it has a smooth satiny finish, not shiny. My absolute only complaint about this amazingly beautiful piece of furniture is that the quality of the finishing could have been soooo much better. It is built very, very well, and will probably last a very long time, but there are some imperfections in the finish that are definitely the result of sloppy craftsmanship. These weren't enough for me to go through the hassle of returning the product, but the person who slapped on the polyurethane wasn't "feelin' the love" for this buffet like I do! Order and enjoy--it is a great value.

I have been searching for a buffet for my dining room for 6 months. I searched local vendors and on-line. I am very pleased with the quality. Well made and sturdy compared to other products I found at this price range.

this was exactly what i fact i was so impressed with it i boght a second to match. only drawback is that on of the cabinets sliding door is abit tight but appears to be improving with use. I would freely reccomend this buffet to anyone needing a classy piece of furniture at a very reasonable price.
