White chest
This is listed as for a child's room, but I bought it for the master bedroom and it is perfect. It has deep drawers that pull in and out on rollers, which makes them move very smoothly. The roller tracks were already installed (yea). Assembly was very easy with just a screwdriver and hammer (they say you don't need these, but you do). Very sturdy and I am very pleased.

High Quality, Gorgeous, Easy to Assemble!
We absolutely LOVE this dresser! I'm so impressed by the quality for the price. It's heavy (136lb shipped) we had to unpack it on the front porch and carry the boxes inside separately. Luckily, it's packed very well and in many separate boxes. There are no tools needed for assembly, but we used a rubber mallet to make the process easier. They're $5 at your hardware store and highly recommended for this and other furniture assembly jobs. There is a click lock system that's proprietary to Kolcraft, we had never seen it before. Once you put one or two pieces together, you'll get the hang of it. This entire dresser was together in less than 20 minutes! It is so beautiful, you would think it's 2-3x the price. Please note that it is NOT a bright white. It's not off white either, but more of a creamy white. We have it in a nursery with a bright white crib, but because they are on opposite sides of the room, you don't even notice the color variance.

Looks good but.....
I bought this dresser for my daughter because I liked the way it looked. However, if you plan to actually use this dresser, DO NOT BUY. We have owned it for about 6 months, the particle board has desintigrated, the plywood falls through, and I had to buy my own knobs for them because they desintigrated as well. The front panels of the drawers all cracked off. My husband tried to glue them an apply L brackets. The drawer slides are sticky and don't slide well.....the list goes on. Too much time and effort. This is truly an example of you get what you pay for.

Shipping was fast and the dresser arrived in good condition. Took my hubby about an hour to assemble. No problems with assembly. Yes, the drawer bottoms are cheap, but it is a good value for the price.

The drawer bottom is MDF, with a solid wood center support. The rest of the case uses solid wood, MDF, particleboard, and veneer core hardwood plywood.

The drawer bottoms are thin. I haven't seen a weight limit per drawer. These drawers should be able to withstand some clothing but based on the appearance of the drawer bottoms, I'd be wary of trying to put more than 15 pounds of items or so per drawer. The drawer bottoms look to be slightly more sturdy than the drawer bottoms for another chest I bought from a Scandinavian-based assemble-it-yourself supplier. Those drawer bottoms were unacceptable and bowed down in no time at all. The thin drawer bottoms are the biggest drawback I've seen for this chest thus far. Otherwise, the chest is nice looking. This dark brown unit appears slightly darker to me than the photo on Overstock. We'll see how it wears.

"I'm wanting to purchase 2 of these dressers for my master bedroom, and I want to attach mirrors to it that will be specially cut by a glass company to fit on the fronts of the drawers, inside the molding. Does anyone have any idea if the recessed area on the drawer fronts is deep enough for mirror (which is pretty thin). The molding edge that meets the drawer front surface needs to be perpendicular to the front, not beveled or 45 degrees so that the cut edge of the mirror buts flush with the innermost edge of the molding. I hope I've explained that correctly - pretty hard to do! LOL Thank you to anyone who answers... Christine"
