Roomy and Comfortable
Recently redecorated my living room and spent more on a new couch than planned. So I decided to find an accent chair that was inexpensive, clean-lines, comfortable and durable; but also roomy (which was surprisingly hard to find). This chair hit all my marks. The fawn color is a warm neutral, the wood is a nice blond and can be easily stained if needed, and the performance velvet is soft and feels like it will hold up well. While the seating depth is standard (22"), the seat width is a generous 28 inches w/out the side throw cushions; which makes it easy to semi curl up in. Firm but comfortable and you can rotate both cushions to slow down any wear. Packaging and Assembly: The chair arrived in a huge box, well packaged, and the chair itself came in a fabric drawstring bag. After the chair was extradited (ha), it took only 10-15 minutes to screw in all the legs. The only slight was one of the desiccant packets (like silica gel but light brown hard beads) broke open in transport so there were beads that had to be vacuumed out of the box before breaking it down, off the wood floor, and from the inside pouch under the chair where the legs were stored.
