I bought this sink for our renovated powder room. I thought it would be perfect in a Stellar Night countertop. I was a bit disappointed that a few days after i purchased it, i saw that Amazon had it for *** less. Also, it is a hammered sink and the flange as well as the drain hole are not smooth, there are many dips in both, so i am hoping it will not be a problem for the installer. One last issue was that the drain is sold separately and not by Overstock. I asked which drains were appropriate for this sink and they responded that there were two. When i priced them online and at our local plumbing supply houses, they were *** ! Seemed pretty steep for a drain to me. In working with the counter agent at one supply shop, we found one that was only *** . None of them will give you the look of a bathroom sink drain because this is a prep sink, made for in a kitchen (another thing that I didn't pick up on) but if you don't mind a grid-type drain you will be good to go. If you are looking for a pop-up or smooth stopper for your sink, then i wouldn't purchase this sink. Since we never plug the sink in the powder room and the grid is shiny and will go with the sink, we are going to make it work. Just a bit disappointed that the look will not be quite what we expected for a powder room.
I researched and searched many places before finding my Farmhouse Sink on Overstock.com. I was so surprised and amazed how beautiful this Farmhouse Kitchen sink is and the price is awesome too! It is 108 lbs., so make sure you install it with reinforcement. Also, the sink comes with everything you need, so no need to order anything extra, especially if you're installing a garbage disposal - you good to go! If you're remodeling a kitchen I suggest ordering it before you start your kitchen because the contractor needs to be able to install it with reinforcement because of the weight of the sink. It took about 7 shipping days and because of the weight UPS delivered it in a bigger truck. I Love how big this sink is, I enjoy washing big pots and pans now and water stays in the sink.
